How To Participate

#PostChat was inspired by the success of #Scriptchat and #Filmin140. It was created with the intention of bringing Post Production professionals together to have a weekly, hour-long, chat about the thing that we are all great at. Ranging from Editors and Colorists to Visual Effects Supervisors and Compositors. The gamut of professions and people that can be involved are limitless.

If it happens after photography, you can bet we’ll be involved.

The concept is simple, utilize the basic function of Twitter combined with a website like TweetChat to create a chatroom like atmosphere and bring together the community.

Here is how you do it:

1. Log in to TweetChat.com before the event using this link or you can use any Twitter program, just search for the hashtag #PostChat
2. Post a message through TweetChat, the website will automatically append the hashtag to the tweet.
3. Chat, respond and retweet, it’s that easy.

We start the chat off with a topic or guest, so be sure to check this website or follow @PostChat to find out the topic. Watch for your @name so you can respond to messages directed towards you.
